Have you heard about FHA Jumbo Loans? In 2008, the economic stimulus package was put into place. Part of the package was to offer FHA Government Insurance on higher loan limits than in the past. These larger FHA loans are known as FHA Jumbo Loans aka FHA Jumbo Home Mortgage Loan. FHA Jumbo Loans can be used to purchase or refinance a home in Bergen County and other high-cost areas in New Jersey.

The Idaho $8,000 First-Time Home Buyer tax credit is on the verge of extension. The Idaho First-Time Home Buyer Tax Credit is set to be extended until April 30, 2010 if it passes legislation. As it stands right now the tax credit is set to expire on December 1, 2009.

Tampa FHA home loan borrowers may want to act quickly in order to avoid a potential downpayment increase from 3.5% to 5%. It’s not the first time we’ve seen an increase of this type, and it’s not going to be the last. Just this pas year, the downpayment requirement for Tampa mortgage borrowers – and those across the country – was increased from 3% to 3.5%. Signs point to congress moving to bump up the percentage again – but by more this time around. California FHA Streamline loans will have dramatic new rules. Effective with case numbers assigned on and after November 17, 2009, several revisions to the FHA Streamline Refinance Program will go into effect. For those that may think doing FHA home loans in Los Angeles , Orange and Ventura Counties is easy, read below! Seasoning  -At the time of loan application, the borrower must have made at least 6 consecutive payments on the loan being refinanced. Payment History  -For mortgages with less than a 12-month payment history, all payments must have been made within the month due. -For mortgages with a 12 month or greater payment history, the borrower must have:                 -No more than one 30-day late payment in the preceding 12 months, AND               -Made all payments within the month due for the 3 months prior to the date of the loan application. Tangible Net Benefit  -Reduction in the total mortgage payment (PITI and HOA) of at least 5% for fixed to fixed. Fixed to 1-year ARM allowed, provided rate is at least 2% below rate on existing loan.
